Yea, and you have been autocrossing for so long

Go buy a 914 and learn how fast a car can spin. You looked great going thru the horseshoe

It was a fun autocross for the one lap I got. My darn coil caused me to head for home.

porsche4life 10-13-2009 12:49 PM

I was wondering why you skipped out.... Shoulda stayed longer... That 280 melted the distributor down and we had to push him from the south end back to the pad...

Oh and I was giving dave a hard time because he spun twice in one day. :D My time is coming. I know it...

I was glad just to get home. I did not get my car fixed until 6:30 PM. I did a LOT of work on it before I discovered it was the coil.

porsche4life 10-13-2009 08:05 PM

What was it doing?

Geronimo '74 10-13-2009 09:59 PM

Morning guys

Yipee on the engine yoke!!

On a sadder note, Vicky and I are not an item anymore. I told her yesterday that I did not see a future for us. She didn't take it all too well. She tried to be tough but she's hurt, I could tell. She said I should have told her sooner, and maybe I should have. Why I didn't, I don't know. I don't like bringing bad news, so I hesitated, which made it worse....
I think I'm kinda relieved, but still got a bad aftertaste now...

svandamme 10-13-2009 10:01 PM

eeeh, why?
and, what's her number?

Been there G... Except it took 2yrs for me to decide that.... Your brothers are here for ya man...

Geronimo '74 10-13-2009 10:09 PM

We were just too different I guess, agewise.
Of course I cannot hold her age against her, but it was difficult to connect at sometimes.
If we connected half as good as we did in bed, I'd marry her, but we just didn't.
There were these moments that we just were together but each doing his own thing. Which maybe sometimes should be possible but not when you're only together for 4 weeks, everything should be pink, lightblue, soft and cudlly. That is what we lacked.

I really hope she'll get over me soon, and she still wants to be friends.

True,
but I noticed it's getting colder. If I do the rebuild in my garage, I'll need to makes sure my parts don't get frozen... (engine parts, stop giggling... :p)

svandamme 10-13-2009 10:39 PM

i'm telling you, it's no fun working on a car that's trough and trough cold.
It's the kind of cold that get's to your bones through your hands with everything you touch on the car.
