I have ten acres to camp on if you guys wanna have a camping trip... :) Got a big pavilion for a cooking area too. The eventual plan is to have power and water at the pavilion.

We can shoot spoons too. Lots of spoons....

slodave 08-08-2011 05:10 PM

Um, it's dry and hot where you are.

porsche4life 08-08-2011 05:11 PM

It'll be better by the time G is here.... ;)

Rick V 08-08-2011 05:12 PM

But will the wind die down?

porsche4life 08-08-2011 05:21 PM

Fall wind isn't that bad.... Hopefully the burn ban is off so we can have a bonfire!

Rick V 08-08-2011 05:32 PM

I was going to say, if it is windy have a good laugh and give G a .17 and watch the frustration. :)

nynor 08-08-2011 05:45 PM

where are you again sid? i may take you up on that.

Rick V 08-08-2011 05:48 PM

Location: Weatherford, OK during the week Arapaho, OK

nynor 08-08-2011 05:55 PM

so. at 80MPH, how long from here to there? 15 hours?

porsche4life 08-08-2011 06:05 PM

Something like that....

Oh and rick... If we get G out here, my old room mate will bring out the eastern bloc rifles. We'll strap a VZ58 to his shoulder and see if we can make him squeal... :D

Or see if he can hold on to the Saiga 12 for 10rds of 00 in rapid succession.

Google Maps

The square is our place.... There is a dry pond in the SW corner that gives me a good backstop.

Posted from my Thunderbolt while sitting on the beach, listening to one of my favorite sinatra songs (nice n easy) and sorting crappy out in my head.

I assume you are deep in a bottle of rum as well?

RKDinOKC 08-08-2011 07:05 PM

I was at the dentist getting work done last week, did the gas. Woke up pitching a tent. She said I was a dream patient. no happy ending.

Sadly, no. Doc says no liquor for at least another week due to the ulcer....
I did find and order a bottle of 18yr talisker online today though!

Stijn!!

We made it home safe and sound. We did 7 loads of laundry and caught up with mail an the newspaper. The I "got" to mow the lawn. It was only 105.

Time for bed.

porsche4life 08-08-2011 08:10 PM

Feel free to send me any spirits you aren't allowed to drink

HHI944 08-08-2011 08:25 PM

Got a follow up tomorrow, I'm hoping he'll go ahead and give me the OK to crack open a bottle for the weekend. The 18 should be here Thursday and I'd really like to enjoy some of it this weekend.

Porsche-poor 08-08-2011 08:32 PM

Stop talking behind my back you guys... :)
I'm not an experienced shooter but I'm a big boy so I reckon I can hold on to most spoons... (I probably will lack some accurracy...)

Maybe you got a happy ending from him... How would you know? He may have wiped it down after he finished... :D:D
I'd never go under fully unless I have someone I can trust with me...
(but dentists over here are not allowed to sedate anyone completely)

Morning Boys,

Rick, I got the link, I checked that place already yesterday but it has no free rooms left when we get there...

I was thinking this one. (Chester Bed & Breakfast - Scottsville, Virginia - BBOnline.com / Introduction) it can't be too far from your place either, I guess.
All hotels seem to be too far for comfort. I'm not sleeping in Charlotteville when Scottsville is actually quite a nice town to vist.
