Thanks Rick.

Any time, I had one for a while that I stored my 71 in, I didn't like it much, it didn't breathe and with the humidity here and a non galvanized car, it had the potential to get real ugly real fast

Good point.
I have a big carport, but that does not keep the cat off it.
.Scratch scratch.

Rick V 08-18-2011 05:07 PM

Moth balls will keep the cat away

vas930 08-18-2011 05:11 PM

She will still get on it.
It only takes one time.
I was thinking of a car cover, but that may do damage also.
Getting the car back in a week.
Must do something.
What do you think?

Cat training aid: No Scratch Spray at Drs. Foster & Smith

I put a cover on my car. I still got scratches as the cats would crawl their way up between the cover and the car to try to wiggle their way into the open windows. Even if the windows weren't open. They were smart (?) enough to remember that I would often park my car in the garage with windows open. They weren't smart enough to figure out any way to test whether or not the window was still open underneath the cover.

I have a fool proof method of keeping my cats off my cars, they don't go outside, nor into the garage. Well I have one cat I let in the garage but she is a gentle mouse killing machine. We named her Panzer for a reason

porsche4life 08-18-2011 05:17 PM

Shoot the cats??

vas930 08-18-2011 05:18 PM

I cant risk it if it does not work.
Spent to much money on paint.
May have to get the tent.

vas930 08-18-2011 05:23 PM

I love the cat more than the car.
I cant keep her in all day after a life outside.
She comes in for the night at 3:30 pm.

My cats are indoor/outdoor, as well. They're not allowed in the garage, but between 2 little kids, the wife who parks her car in the garage, and that the kids' riding toys are also kept in the garage, it's hard for me to police my cat-free zone 24/7.

Speaking of cats...

Alarick, I brought your shop light back today. It's by the right front corner in the garage.

Noah930 08-18-2011 05:50 PM

How'd the S&R expedition with Mrs. Noah go?

Thanks.

slodave 08-18-2011 05:53 PM

You check your voicemail today? We found the keys, actually, she spotted them after looking in a few spots.
