oh, he thought it hella funny, too.

i've been feeling odd for hours. it started ramping up to a migraine, then i realized i was probably having caffeine withdrawal. having a coke and a smile. we'll see.

HHI944 12-12-2011 07:10 PM

I hate caffeine withdrawal! Im hopelessly addicted to caffeine in all forms.

slodave 12-12-2011 07:12 PM

I looked at your link. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish.

nynor 12-12-2011 07:13 PM

i did look at your web page. there are a few spelling and grammar errors, but overall, i think it is okay. you probably ought to make a small FAQ re. the purpose of the page and stuff.

HHI944 12-12-2011 07:49 PM

Nynor, like I said it is still far from ready for primetime and all of the posts from today have made via typepads mobile interface and that leaves a lot to be desired. Grammar and spelling will be corrected when at a real computer.

Dave, I'm making the point that sex abuse isn't the only abuse the Catholic church is perpetrating. They have some very poor policies and that will never change until public pressure is applied.

nynor 12-12-2011 07:50 PM

well, the coca cola worked. i have that going for me.

nynor 12-12-2011 07:51 PM

hhi, gotcha. i just see that stuff.

GH85Carrera 12-12-2011 08:15 PM

Good night guys. Bed time for me.

nynor 12-12-2011 08:25 PM

nighty night.

the cola definitely did the trick. i was starting to get worried, my vision was getting odd.

Porsche-poor 12-12-2011 08:36 PM

That's why I posted....feedback of any sort. I intend to put up a very comprehensive faq/about me, and why I'm doing this, but there are a few procedural issues I need to finish first in regards to the lawsuit.

I'm no expert in web design, but I looked at the site for a minute, and your mission needs to jump out and grab you. You don't want people looking at the website wondering wtf it is about. It needs to get their attention, so they will stay on the site and read it all.

slodave 12-12-2011 09:06 PM

That was my point. I just wasn't very broad in my description.

porsche4life 12-12-2011 09:09 PM

Also read up on the psychological connotations of different colors. Your site has a dark feel to it right now, if that is what you want, then you are good, but I would go for some subtle blues and greens.

And I HATE green....

The color doesn't need to be what catches the eye, it just needs to set the mood. The message needs to be what makes the impact.

Also, find some pictures, I know its hard with what you are doing, but people are simple creatures, and they like pictures.

nynor 12-12-2011 09:51 PM

bedtime, for me. good night guys.

slodave 12-12-2011 10:01 PM

Night!

porsche4life 12-12-2011 10:28 PM

Night D.

Time to hit the management notes. One test and in done with this azzhole of a teacher.

svandamme 12-12-2011 10:40 PM

I don't think anybody needs convincing that the Catholic Church as an organisation is covering up their sins : little boys..
Well, some do need convincing, the hard core catholics, but you won't convince those folks with a website.. or through any other means...
Them's God fearing people and they fear God more then a website can fix...
So really you would be preaching to the choir with that website...

porsche4life 12-12-2011 10:53 PM

And then there's that....
