I might be needing your future advice then, Rick. My daughters are 13, 11 and 4. My oldest is already heading for a vivid puberty and any advice would be appreciated. Along the line of intimidating potential hymen breakers, would you recommend the classic wooden baseball bat or the lighter, more nimble aluminum items?

Never found a good use for a bat except for the proper design. I have found that being 6-4, always grouchy was enough. That and random gun placement to be enough. Her older brother was good at that game as well.
