Don't overthink things, Max. While this girl has been you have had your eye on for awhile, you can easily satisfy the requirements of the contest with any other random girl you come across (and well, spend some decent time talking to). Heck, it could even be an umbrella girl on her break at Laguna Seca. :)

We took a bunch of cars and weighed them. Then we ran them down the track. There was no correlation between weight and distance. (Obviously because of all the variables involved--mainly rolling resistance, i.e. cattywompus wheels.) So we took two individual cars--one light car that went far, and a heavy car that didn't go too far--and ran them again: car alone, car with one coin, car with two coins. For each individual car, the heavier the car, the farther it went. I decided to postpone the lecture about GPE --> kinetic energy for a couple more years. |

I am running out of weeks in this quarter. I don't know what her summer plans are. I have to keep at it. It does keep things interesting I suppose since I still can't get what I want. |
I am surprised the Kent State thread is still in OT and not PARF. I got suckered into replying because it was still here. I know I shouldn't have. It has the PARF feel which can only mean bad things.

All this talk of May the Fourth may have destracted me a bit but now it has reminded me that it is my parent's anniversary tomorrow (Cinco de Mayo).
Hmm. I wonder how the normal young people here celebrate CdM. |
BTW, I've seen Vas post on the 930 forum. Maybe he is still reading the Stijn thread but just not posting. Did he every post any pictures from his trackday?
|
I have seen Vas post on other threads as well. (although not too many)
I wonder who made him mad at us? |
Wasn't me, surprisingly.......I haven't been here much. Working like mad and real life have interfered with my PPOT time.

Bill... Just be glad I'm not living in Texas yet, or I'd be coming over. ;)

I'm glad I got Abraxas for my music class. Some great sounds on there.

Sid if you get some time off while in Houston, I live about an hour south of San Antonio... You are always welcome here...
Kalabasa is a simple dish. I chop and saute a large onion and then add skinless chicken breast chunks and cook them. I then add a couple large cups of water, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper & salt. Let it simmer for a while and then I add garden fresh yellow squash chunks and zucchini chunks. I continue to simmer it until the squash and zucchini is tender but not overly tender. Often times I will add a cup or two of precooked Spanish rice in the mix to thicken the sauce a tad bit. It is really good and healthy if you like that sort of thing. |
