Hey Doc.
Okay I am back to deciding if it would be easier for me to make a living knocking over 7-11's

nynor 01-07-2010 03:25 AM

7-11's don't have any money. you are better off with liquor stores.

can't you just turn tricks as a manwhore?
I'm sure there's a market for tall, butch, crossdressers

Howdy guys,

When I got to work it was obvious we had a long power outage last night. Only the RAIDs with the big batteries were still on. Everything shut down. At least the power is on so I can surf the net. I guess the heater is a good thing as well.

The winds gusted to 63 MPH last night during the freezing rain. Those power company workers are earning their paychecks today.

Just went out in the snow with my Toyota coupe. It was so deep on my street and my car so low that I was plowing with my front bumper.

i had this dream last night that my clutch was burnt. only it was a different porsche i was driving, i think it was a 924S. anyway, i was pretty bummed and i was worried about what the wife was going to say. i started thinking about what it was going to take to replace the clutch myself, being that i've done it once before. i woke up and realized that my 951 is parked safely in the garage with a good clutch.... whew!

Thats a true nightmare right there.

nynor 01-07-2010 03:21 PM

yeah, it was pretty stressful. the one 944 clutch i did this summer took FOREVER. it didn't help that we got the bell housing and all back on, along with the torque tube, then realize we had assembled the throw out bearing onto the pressure plate incorrectly (which is why it failed in the first place, not our doing).

porsche4life 01-07-2010 03:22 PM

Mine is going to need done soon... I give it 2yrs max with me at the wheel...

slodave 01-07-2010 03:24 PM

Two years? Try harder. I fried (90%) the clutch in my old Scirocco in one night. The remaining 10% failed later that year.

livi 01-07-2010 03:25 PM

Greetings from the graveyard shift. Sigh.. I am too old for this sh!!t.
