G, I'll be in Europe Sept. 11-20. I'm planning on heading to your neck of the woods. Make some time. :)

Done!

Great. Another pelican get together!:D

Morning dudes!

Top 'o the mornin', G.

Very neat. Sorta. WIth all the fireworks tonight the dog was wigging out. Shaking, nervous, and even hid under my son's bed. Of course I then thought of that statistic that more pets are lost on this night than any other night of the year. So I took her outside for a walk, which actually calmed her (maybe through distraction?). On the way back into the house, I called for my two cats. And they appeared out of the darkness and all 4 of us walked into the house. Now all 3 pets are relaxing on different chairs in the living room watching TV with Mrs. Noah.

Glad the cats are not driving you crazy.

This is strange. I renewed the lapsed Cal Poly SAE website today on GoDaddy. I paid and after an hour or two the site was back up. Now I just visited it again and it has the message about expiration again. wtf?

It is SAE Cal Poly | Society for Automotive Engineers

How does it look to you all?

Noah930 07-04-2012 10:34 PM

No, they'll wait until 3 am after they've had a nap and want to go outside to catch some mice. That's when they start meowing at the front door. Mrs. Noah closes/locks the cat door at night as she's not keen on any unwanted nocturnal visitors.

DNS entries have to propagate around the world. Normal.

Flieger 07-04-2012 10:36 PM

At least you don't have a Nebelung. They are called the dogs of the cat world. Very vocal and like routines (especially when it is the routine of my Dad giving him a treat ). They are VERY vocal. Did I mention they voice their opinion a lot?

He seems to be more and more like that as he gets older. He used to be a good hunter and not so noisy/annoying. Still a good cat, though.

Not sure what that means, but the fact that it was up a few hours ago and is now down again has me concerned. You are saying that is normal?

Noah930 07-04-2012 10:38 PM

Actually I like my cats because they partially act like dogs. They come home when called. One cat is particularly vocal and practically has conversations with us when there's something he wants. They go for walks up and down the sidewalk with us, as a family. They love it when we're home, and hang out with us in the yard when we're there (or if I'm working on a car or bike in the driveway). One cat even seems to like (or at least not mind) going on trips in the car with us. He's been a stowaway a couple times.

He still comes when called... if he wants to. He did used to follow me on walks in the neighborhood. He stays in at night more now and will come in at night if you call him.

Mrs. Noah is missing spending Independence Day in Boston (it's on TV right now). It's probably the most fun day of the year to be in Boston. That and the day of the Marathon in April. Too bad it's raining in Boston.
