G'day Rick, got your bbq sorted?
|
Yup, I put her back and covered her up, flipped her the bird and walked away
|
lol :D
I had a dull weekend. Rebuilt the OS in Sharyn's laptop, and detailed her honda. Scoring some brownie points ;) |
G'day Azzy,
How was DC? |
Evening Gents,
How goes the inauguration parties? Sitting back after a long weekend in Washington DC, didn't stay for the !manic Monday!, but I have not seen so many well heeled, well dressed, obviously rich colored gents and ladies before. There was some serious money in DC this weekend. But still had a good time, went to a few museums we hadn't visited before, saw "the Flag" the Gutenberg Bible, the Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, the Lincoln Memorial again, as we had visitors who hadn't seen it, but a good weekend, must have walked 20 miles. Had a few pages to catch up on, some people not doing much for the long weekend? Jeff is it still raining? Get a load of the temperatures for the next few days in Southern Maryland and surrounds, yikes, I know for those in the middle of the USA these temps are nothing unusual, but for me it is going to be cold, top of 20F is cold to me, with windy conditions as well, yuk! So it will be 20F feels like 10F.....FFFFFF! Took Marilyn out last week when it was raining, and just before we were supposed to have the big (hahahha) s*** thingy, and the roads were all sand and salted, so now will have to give her a good wash underneath and everywhere, damn, but not much choice, had to use her. Watching the 49ers and Falcons hopefully 49ers will win, they are up by 4 with 1.30 to go in the 4th. I had a very dear friend in Oz who passed away a year or so ago, and he was a mad 49ers fan, so go 49ers!! For the geeks, why does my laptop (Dell) keep, in all applications, jumping back about 3 lines of typing or so, when I am typing. As I am a touch typist I am not normally looking at what I am typing, and when I look up I am 3 lines or so back and all our of place, aaaaaaaahh! poop Its been doing it for a month or so, it doesn't seem to be when any particular key gets punched or anything, and as I said its in all applications. Any ideas? I have run scans and don't appear to have any virus that could be doing it, but... |
No more rain. It was just a few localised showers, mostly light. The airport (20km south) got 20mm. My rain gauge said 2mm. It was nice to have low temps (35C) for a while.
Could be your touch pad on your laptop. It may have become extra sensitive, and brushing past it causes it to think you've clicked your cursor to a different spot on the display. Sharyn's laptop does it sometimes. Got me a T-shirt for this year Oz-day festivities this weekend :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1358723291.jpg |

Evening y'all
Got some street terrorizing in today. I love this baby Duc Still gonna keep my eye open for a 900ss engine and forks, but not huge priorities.....wait until I can find a steal. |
My way of relaxing post ride at the cigar shop

I have decided that I should not be allowed in the grocery store. I have no tolerance with self absorbed people who either block the isle or ram me with a cart, that and I spend way too much money.
|
I just end up in the beer aisle and bakery section......
|
Beer in both forms. :)
|
That's why I do most of my grocery shopping at the farmers market. All organic, grassfed.......blah blah blah
|
We buy a lot at the local farmers markets when they are open but round these parts they close during the cold months
