Annual Festival of Trees event for the children's hospital here in Tacoma.

A lot of illegals come through there. Lived just south of I8 between San Diego and Yuma.

Trailer has a bad connection on the gas line to the water heater and needs replaced. Might as well do a tankless as put another 6 gallon one in.

We smoked a turkey and tri-tip for thanksgiving. Plus all the other regular stuff.

Playing UBER driver today. I dropped off Mrs C at PT place. Next is go fetch her and go to Dr. office for her checkup. She is doing way better than last week!

Morning all. That is great news, She will be back to the garden soon!

After several freezes about all that there is to do in the garden it remove the dead foliage.

She can get herself dressed and can use her left arm and hand to do light things. The PT guy encouraged her to start using it more. Still several weeks before she is back to full use of that arm, and sleeping in bed, not the recliner.

Morning all. ITs been cold and foggy here. So much so that its no fun taking the dog out for a walk.

He managed take a shower by herself. I had to help dry her back, but that was it.

It was really nice weather here yesterday. Today is kinda cod, with the mid 40s for a high.

I saw one new report that showed a huge line of cars on the highway trying to evacuate the low lying areas. It looked like the hurricane evacuations, just a mass of cars on the highway, moving little or not at all.

Another day of her going to PT. She continues to do better. That traffic jam looked horrible. I feel

100% safe from Tsunamis. Oklahoma as a whole has had 144 tornadoes so far. The record is 149 for the year. The vast majority of them are F0 to F1 intensity. Many of them did zero damage as they never hit a man made structure or object.

I took Mrs. C to her follow up apt at the doctors office yesterday. He said he wants her to stop using the sling around the house, and to start using her arm, and moving it. No lifting anything that is heavy. No heavy use, just keep it moving.

She took a shower by herself today!

We had mist all day yesterday and received a whopping 0.02 inches of rain.

Was un the upper 50s for a while here. Now it is starting to get on the chilly side again.

It was a cold but clear day yesterday. The Mrs is getting better every day. She is still sleeping in the recliner. The PT folks keep expanding the list of exercises she has to do at home.

Another day of playing UBER, taking her to PT, and then to lunch.

Ok so here is the skinny as I know it. I have been in the hospital since Monday morning. Progressed thru 2 ctscans, an mri and a biopsy. They have not completely ruled out cancer but really have no idea. I may get to go home today and stay there till final biopsy results come in. After that it's either cancer treatment or surgery. Great way to spend the holidays.

All the tests really suck, but they have not found the bad pookie, cancer.

Hopefully they will find the issue, and the fix it, before Christmas. That would be a great Christmas present. Just keep on thinking positive. Good luck.

Got cold here. Found out the mice chewed one of the wires on the snow blower. Great fun.

I feel for you. Went through some of that in October. Biopsy was not cancer but they don't know what it is. Great.

Maybe it is an Extraterritorial device!

Hopefully they will figure it out soon.

Home for now. Now we wait to see what's next.

There is that!

We were at 69 or 70 degrees yesterday afternoon. I was allowed to pick up dog crap from the back yard. Yep, I was just a ordinary average man just like Joe Walsh in his song.

Ii liked the warm weather, not a real fan of picking up crap, but we did have a large collection so it needed to be done.

We had our local region's club lunch on Saturday at the Chicken ranch, within sight of the Arcadia Round barn on Rt66. It is a huge place. We had a nice turnout, and one new member. It was cool enough on Saturday that I wore my PCA jacket, and that let him find our table. He is a funny guy, and he asked the waitress what they were best known for. She said Chicken of course. They do have good boasted chicken. They have other stuff, but a restaurant named the Chicken ranch is not the place to go for a hamburger or BLT.

Mrs. Carrera is taking a shower on her own, and getting dressed on her own, except I have to help with her bra. I guess I have learned to do that. I had experience in removing women's clothes, but helping to dress a woman is much harder to do.

I am just happy she is just wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and not a skirt and blouse and accessories.

She has pretty much dumped all of her skirts and dresses. She used to have to wear those for going to work. She is 100% retired, and she will wear a dress as soon as I put on a suit and tie. It ain't gonna happen. I prefer shorts and a t-shirt, but it is to cold for shorts now, so jeans and a t-shirt for me.
