In these parts UPS delivers to USPS and they finish the final delivery, at least on small items

buy big stuff and watch them crush it.

But I don't have the money for big stuff

We are getting pounded with S***. Near whiteout at times, over 6" on the ground of wet heavy snow, and still coming down hard. Been running on generator since 1 pm. Got plenty of gas and a second generator ready to go....

Yea, we got lucky. The s*** has yet to arrived in OKC but it was cold and raining hard. The funeral home is owned by the same folks that own the cemetery. They also own the large mausoleum at the cemetery. They let us use the mausoleum for the ceremony. The honor guard carried the casket into the room which is more than large enough to hold all of us. We were dry and out of the wind. They folded the flag, and then we walked back to the door to see the firing of the guns. I got to keep one of the fired blank cartridges they used. I had decided to let my older brother accept the folded flag. He will build a shadow box to keep it above the mantle and pass it to his boys.
