Janet, what all do you need to fix on the 944?

That sounds like government bureaucrat rules for sure.

Morning Y'all

Not happy, Jan. :( Since the novocaine (or whatever dentists use these days) wore off, my right hand lower jaw is giving me curry.

I'm trying to sleep but it's not working. :( I thought I'd call in here to pass the time for a while.

Go with ya wood Jim, it'll never let you down. ;)

What doesn't need to be fixed? :)She's getting a v8 when the parts get here. I've been in charge of restoring the interior and with the engine coming out having good working struts would be nice. I have to replace the hood/hatch struts asap. Should have done that already.

Morning all. Half day then off to play roadie.

Outback Porsche 04-18-2013 06:33 AM

Gawd.....I thought you were announcing that someone was coming out...

Andy911sc 04-18-2013 06:36 AM

My heart goes out to those in/around Texas Fertilizer company that lost their lives and those that were hurt. As lead chemist & safety manager at a Fertilizer company myself, I have been doing a lot of crowd control this morning.

V8.... so are you making a Porchev? Or are you going with the porsche v8 that is in the 928's to keep it genuine

azzarule 04-18-2013 06:46 AM

the pictures coming out of Texas are just devastating, boy that place has really gone up and the poor people who were working at the time, and the emergency people who have been killed and injured, it is terrible. The blast measured 2.4 on the Richter scale, holy moley, thats a bloody big explosion!

azzarule 04-18-2013 06:47 AM

Jeff, you poor thing, nothing hurts like toothaches, except childbirth hahahahahahahahahahah

azzarule 04-18-2013 06:48 AM

sorry just had to put the knife in.

Man toothache is 5hitful, worse than Man flu.

Get up and take some more painkillers, panadol, panadeine forte if you have any.

Jferr006 04-18-2013 06:48 AM

I'm calling it Frankenporsche....nope, LT1(someone hasn't read the thread ; x) long story short: husband who knows nothing about 944's got me one as a surprise because I've been dying for one. It needed tons more work than I would have chosen in a project. Motor=shot, interior=shot he wants to put a v8 in it and gets all butt-hurt if i mention scrapping it and getting one i want...I'm letting him have his way because the sooner this is done the sooner I can buy another to keep intact.

azzarule 04-18-2013 06:59 AM

Janet, will you be selling it when it is finished to fund a 944, powered by Porsche!!

azzarule 04-18-2013 07:00 AM

Ta, great minds think alike.

Yup, it sucks. It originally started as a cut on my gum ended up infected, two and a half hours later and a grand lighter I've got a mouthful of numb, three repaired teeth and a bottle of antibiotics. And an appointment for next month to get some more repairs.

LT1.... Blasphemy (j/k)

Oh and I am reading the thread. You don't come on board until at least Jan 2013 and I haven't made it that far yet. I'm still in 2011 on the progress.
