i am around. i have not forgotten. it was an awesome promise.

No, he isn't my brother but I don't get that "zing" when I am around him. Chemistry. He is one of those guys I desperately would want to be attracted to because he is the nicest and sweetest guy ever. He is a little older than me, semi retired, owns his house straight out, loves kids (coaches 7/8 year old hockey team), works out about 5 days a week, plays on a hockey team, is such a loyal and helpful friend who will drop everything to help a friend out, and has paid for my friends (his little sister) bills to help her out. Just a nice guy. But no "zing". :( I have several guy friends that started out as "dates" but no zing. Still no zing with any of them. Sigh... It's all good. I am good at being single I think. When I see the zing, I will know it. And he asked me to go see a movie, told him I would get back to him after I figure out my schedule.

I took the bikini pic while I was sunbathing at my pool. It is from the the viewpoint of me. No head. Lol! I took it for my friend who was painting her bedroom and I was trying to convince her to come over and hang with me and the boys. She has boys the same age as mine. So, I texted her the pic to tease her into coming. She responded by saying, "B&@$! Get off your butt and come help me paint". He he.

My brain is still on our holiday weekend. Not being very productive. All I have done is sent a couple emails... Need more coffee.

Jferr006 05-29-2013 10:14 AM

I'm starving and waiting for my windshield to get finished so I can get lunch. Im still "on vacation" too.

I keep eating because I am bored.

That is better than being bored because you are eating.

tweezers74 05-29-2013 10:44 AM

True, Glen. But I don't think I would ever get bored eating...too much of a foodie.

Good news, I get my hair done today! Yay! I am gonna look hot tonight. Too bad I don't have a date tonight... Or even non-date.

The correct answer is touch them and feel which is warmer. Norton has a current source going through a resistor all the time, dissipating power. Thevenin will be open with nothing connected so cold because no power dissipated.

Glenn, they aren't labeled. ;)

Yea, I kinda figured that, but you did not state it in the rules!

Haha. Clever idea but good luck with that. It would depend upon the power rating of the resistor/s. If the designer was worth his/her salt and over rated their design, you probably wouldn't be able to feel a difference. ;)

Btw, morning...yawn...

Hi Jeff. All this talk of Thevenin and Norton circuits brings back memories of EE circuits classes and some of my early work as a design engineer.

nynor 05-29-2013 01:32 PM

where is the pic, tweeze?

as for zing.... don't know what to tell you. sometimes it takes time and then you find that the man in your heart was there all along. but, what do i know.

speaking of roosters, and fowl and birds and waking up.

We have a stupid bird in our suburb that chirps all night long, starts about 11pm and goes all night, its a very noisey sings so many different tunes, sounds like a bluddy canary, and its song goes on and on and on and on, and it sounds like a mimmicker like it mimics other bird species.

Anyone know what it is? Anyone know why it goes all night?

It is driving my crazy, I like to sleep with the windows open to get some fresh air, but I have to close them now, otherwise it is just too loud, but I can hear it even with the windows closed.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

nynor 05-29-2013 01:51 PM

mockingbird, or someone's canary/parrot that they put outside at night so that they can sleep, that is my best guess, azzy.
