They love their cars. I would like to have another E30 to beat back and forth to work.

Price one pays to work for the govt or military.

Jim Richards 06-27-2013 03:35 PM

I'll keep looking, maybe even while we're on our work-cation, but my expectations aren't very great anymore.

Rick V 06-27-2013 03:37 PM

Jim, it makes no sense to look for a car in Ca. that you have planned on using here in DC. :D

hi y'all

evening to all and sundry, another day at the millstone.

alarm clock went beserk last night dropped an hour, so Hubby up at 4, and me, me,... yes I said me up at 5.15am. The alarm went off, like normal, looked over it said 6.15, it was a tad dark, but hey it was cloudy, up and into the shower, down for brekky, Hubby there, says its only 5.25 aaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Oh well was at work early.

So went home early.

There's an up side to everything.

and the drive to work, all 7 miles of it, was nice and quiet.

Rick,

Seahawk and I have been chatting about the Stijn weekend, Hubby is going to be away the week before that weekend and also the week after that weekend (leaving Sunday lunchtime), and it was getting a bit tight to fit it in around his work travel, so Seahawk has suggested a BBQ weekend at his place instead. We think its a great idea if anyone else wants to head over this way. I will be delaying our booking at the Gristmill until Autumn, it should be very pretty around there then.

So for anyone else who wants to have the Stijn get together still and wants to head over our way to Southern maryland instead, we have rooms and beds aplenty. And will borrow camping gear for when beds run out.

Sorry people but even though it was planned months ago, Hubby's work travel just keeps coming up, and makes it really hard to plan anything.

I was thinking that you were probbly up and onto the porch listening to the birds already!

azzarule 06-27-2013 04:59 PM

can't wait for the next Origin game

Rick V 06-27-2013 05:01 PM

I talked to Paul yesterday, and Beth likes the idea. We were both very upset when I cancelled our room.
Beth and I are crashing at Paul's.

azzarule 06-27-2013 05:02 PM

it is on about 6 am here so trying to encourage the guys at work to have a morning with the game on the wall with the lightpro, and have brekkie while we watch the Origin game.
