GH85Carrera 10-23-2013 09:27 AM

Yea, that looks scary.

porsche4life 10-23-2013 09:28 AM

That's part of the appeal Glen... ;)

Don't even think about it, mister. I am all for fast and furious but this would not be smart. ;)

Porsche-poor 10-23-2013 09:33 AM

lol I was going to point out that you had better ask the better half first.......

porsche4life 10-23-2013 09:34 AM

Haha! I really wasn't that interested... If it was factory built maybe... But it has the feeling of welded together by some rednecks... I bet the only turn it will do is to turn over! ;)

Porsche-poor 10-23-2013 09:36 AM

the famous BBQ roll.

tweezers74 10-23-2013 09:39 AM

Sucks that I am on the forum, huh, Sidney. ;)

Joking aside, Sidney makes the right decisions in the end. I trust him. He doesn't have to ask me anything. He may want to hear my opinion but like I said, I know he has good reason for making the decisions that he does.

That being said, just find a safer one or a manufactured one, then buy that one. :)

GH85Carrera 10-23-2013 01:11 PM

Yea, Sid needs MORE toys. We all do!

Let's see he has a Porsche, Wave Runner or Jet Ski, motorcycle, remote controlled RC car, lots of guns and a dad that has plenty of toys as well.

Dang Sid, you are doing good.

Just remember my Mantra: You are NEVER too old to have a happy childhood. ;)

We all grow older, but we don't have to grow up! :D

HHI944 10-23-2013 02:12 PM

Well, it's on now.

Just ordered a lower and parts kit minus the buffer assembly/buttstock from palmetto state armory....I'm building an AR Pistol....

Evening Y'all.
Glen I have you beat in the no electronic stuff, Peggy sports the aerobics package as well aka manual windows. The steering wheel if fixed, there is no ac and the floor vents (I love those) I actually have to bend down to slide them open. I love it.
Sid, as fro rednecks welding, we aren't all bed. I welded my old Nissan rust box truck frame back together when the son broke it, and it stayed together when he later flipped the truck. :) I can weld better than a sixteen year old wild boy and destroy. :)

porsche4life 10-23-2013 04:11 PM

Oh its not the strength of the welds rick... Its the engineering and physics around the suspension setup that worries me. ;)

Porsche-poor 10-23-2013 04:11 PM

The better half already said no.

porsche4life 10-23-2013 04:13 PM

But she didn't say I couldn't build my own... ;) Just need to find a wrecked crotch rocket! ;) Anybody know of wrecked desmosedici? ;) And then I'd just have to get max or schumi to do some designing. :D

Porsche-poor 10-23-2013 04:14 PM

not a bad plan or a good one either.

porsche4life 10-23-2013 04:16 PM

Haha.... Just don't have time right now... ;) Maybe someday...

Porsche-poor 10-23-2013 04:17 PM

now that's a concept I understand.

And so it begins. Welcome to the real world. I will have time when I retire. Which will be many moons before you, Sidney. ;)

porsche4life 10-23-2013 04:25 PM

So I better teach you to weld and fabricate... ;)
