livi 04-27-2011 01:07 AM

As far as planned. We have not yet made a definite schedule though.

Rick V 04-27-2011 01:23 AM

Geronimo '74 04-27-2011 01:26 AM

Not until September Rick... :)

Rick V 04-27-2011 01:34 AM

Well I can tell you next weekend, I am going to be lazy, very very lazy

Geronimo '74 04-27-2011 01:36 AM

Rick V 04-27-2011 01:39 AM

GH85Carrera 04-27-2011 05:28 AM

Good morning guys.

I was informed that I "get" to drive up to Enid (a 190 mile round trip) this weekend and install a ceiling fan, and two other light fixtures at my MILs house. I will get a good home cooked meal out of it. Party Party!

SouthCoastPhil 04-27-2011 06:22 AM

Rick, can you help this guy out?

all right, porsche-poor, i ate the king oysters. they were damn good, actually. they have a very nice flavor. they are very hearty, almost like a mushroom steak. i think i need to cut them thinner than i did, as i only cut them lengthwise twice.

i also read that one only gets one flush from the king oysters. i wish i had known that when i started, i would have done things a little differently. that said, it sure looks like they are going to fruit again. when they do, i'll send you some. that one pan of mushrooms was probably close to pound, maybe more. they also have really good shelf life, so i think they will get to you in good shape.

i also have some yellow oysters coming on:

Yum sounds great. Now you need to think of something I can send you.

porsche4life 04-27-2011 07:05 AM

Almost done with classes. Finals next week. I am most likely going climbing/camping/hiking the latter half of next week.

Porsche-poor 04-27-2011 07:06 AM

good luck on the tests.

RKDinOKC 04-27-2011 07:56 AM

Scheduled to get the 94 928 GTS dynoed today at 2PM. Gotta see what it's got out of the box and before I drop some new cams in.

Porsche-poor 04-27-2011 08:09 AM

Makes sense. There is a group of people up here that do one oevery spring to see what improvments or loss have been made after the winter projects.

GH85Carrera 04-27-2011 08:10 AM

Hopefully is is more than the mighty 305 my El Camino.

I had 116.6 HP & 206.2 lb ft of touque, back in 2004 when I converted it to fuel injection. I will turn 300,000 miles on it this summer. It is almost broken in.

RKDinOKC 04-27-2011 08:20 AM

Not expecting over 300 rwhp since it is supposed to have 345 at the crank.

GH85Carrera 04-27-2011 08:25 AM

I just set my computer on another task with the Big MO FO files. It is making a Mr Sid Gen3 mosaic of the individual files. Right now it is estimating 222 hours. That is 9.25 days if everything goes perfect. If it crashes we have to start over. Fortunately I set that up on a computer that normally does nothing more than monitor our fax machine. It will not tie up one of my main work computers.

nynor 04-27-2011 08:38 AM

what kind of processing power do you have on that machine?

So you are going to try to get it to about 400 at the crank?

RKDinOKC 04-27-2011 10:21 AM

The cams and some chip tuning should net 50 hp so close to 400 crank is what I am hoping for. With drive train loss that should be close to 330 rwhp.

GH85Carrera 04-27-2011 05:34 PM

I am just getting this off of page TWO!

G-man where have you been today?

Noah930 04-27-2011 05:46 PM

Coming home from work today, I saw some guy get hit by a car. As in, all of a sudden I saw arms and legs and a puff of papers go flying 5 feet up in the air from a car two vehicles in front of me. I thought it was some sort of prank at first. When's the last time you saw crazy flying arms and legs above the roofline of a car? Fortunately, the pedestrian got up and walked over to the curb. I called 911 nonetheless. Weird.

wow. i saw a guy get hit on his bike in an intersection. it was surreal.

Porsche-poor 04-27-2011 06:52 PM

evening guys. Have never seen one of those but I did see a guy die at the start of a desert motor cycle race, dosn't pay to be out front then bite it with 100 other guys right behind you.

Noah930 04-27-2011 07:02 PM

It was definitely a Super Dave Osborne moment. Until I realized it was for real.

porsche4life 04-27-2011 09:02 PM

Evening guys. Went canoeing this afternoon, it was cold, windy, and not a lot of fun....

Noah930 04-27-2011 09:14 PM

I've been on my back for the last 3 days because I threw it out while picking up the camp from last weekend's RVing trip. THAT'S not much fun. My wife saw me walking and asked me if I had also lost control of my bowels and shat in my pants. I didn't see the humor in it at the time.

slodave 04-27-2011 10:03 PM

I got hit by a car like that once. No papers flying though.

Porsche-poor 04-27-2011 10:31 PM

porsche4life, looks like you can ask the owner of a red 911 about that picture...... if the being back thread is the guy?

porsche4life 04-27-2011 10:37 PM

I don't need to ask, I know...

HHI944 04-27-2011 10:44 PM

Ugh, I'm still so worked up over Mondays events that I can't friggin sleep. I really need a lunesta...

livi 04-27-2011 10:51 PM

Rick V 04-28-2011 01:23 AM

Okay I think it is time to send the tornadoes back to the mid west where they belong

Geronimo '74 04-28-2011 01:37 AM

Morning Rick,

Storms are blowing you away??

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1303979815.jpg

Rick V 04-28-2011 01:56 AM

I think someone has too much time on their hands. :)

GH85Carrera 04-28-2011 05:54 AM

Good Morning fellers.

In recent days Oklahoma has just been the breeding ground for the storm to form up. The start building just to the east of the metro area. Then they march over to Arkansas and head off. Arkansas has been swamped. We are still in a drought.

It is an older machine. It is a Pentuim4 - 3.2 GHz Dual core with 4 gigs of RAM running XP Pro. I just checked the batch process and now it say it will be done in "just" another 476 hours! So about May 18th it might be done. I suspect the program will puke and give up or there will be some sort of problem. That is a crazy long time time.

The customer is happy with the 32 gig mosaic file we dilevered yesterday. AutoCAD actually opens it without a problem and they loved it. :D
