wow you really are blessed Seahawk, or maybe not, you might be in trouble leaving Mrs Seahawk by herself in the snow!!

But if she needs anything we are always here to help!

Azzy there is no way I wouldn't get home. I have done the off road detour before to go around wrecks and closed roads before. I would NEVER let Beth have to suffer through a night like that.
Good timing for you Paul, (You can translate that into what I really said) :)

what I don't understand watching the news tonight is the inconsiderate people, who just get out of their cars and walk off the freeway, no attempt to put them off the road out of the way, nothing, so when it comes time to clear the road and salt and spray, they can't, should just plough all those cars off the road.

Azzy Beth wanted me to ask you how you liked the movie "The day after tomorrow"

RKDinOKC 02-12-2014 04:51 PM

If you saw the day after tomorrow the day before yesterday does that make you clairbouyant or psychotic?

Rick V 02-12-2014 04:52 PM

yes....

Hopefully it'll arrive today - starting to sweat over it...not yet at the loosing sleep stage...

Gotta love waiting on parts

Outback Porsche 02-12-2014 05:39 PM

Especially when the vehicle has to be on a boat 3000km away in a little over a week.

Got one of the largest Rover salvage yards here in downtown OKC. Order parts from them and they never show up. At least the never charge my card either.

Order parts from some random googled up salvage yard in England and the parts show up in 3 days.

Found I have to actually go to the local yard and schedule at least a couple of hours. Takes that long even when they provide a guide to help find the parts. The upside is when in person I get the pick of the parts. In person the prices are off the cuff and get cheaper the more stuff I buy.

If the heat and air worked worth a darn and the driver's seat didn't start making my butt hurt on drives longer than 30minutes I could fix it up really nice. Right now it's just a cheap stop gap beater until I can afford something nicer. I'm thinking used Cayenne S, they are getting below $10K.

Saw my first Ftype jag... Holy crap that's a sexy car in person!

Oh and I got the new wires for the bug... Anyone wanna come help? ;)

Rick V 02-12-2014 05:44 PM

You payin' air fair Sid?

porsche4life 02-12-2014 05:54 PM

No, but you are welcome to lay by the pool in the 80 degree weather as long as you'd like when we are done. ;)

azzarule 02-12-2014 06:32 PM

Beth the movie Day After Tomorrow, is now today and tomorrow, but it was a good movie, but with the Arctic Vortex et al over the last month or so, I am a bit worried it is not just fiction anymore!! Time to move south!!

azzarule 02-12-2014 06:36 PM

Jeff you will love Tassie, I am always trying to convince the hubby to move their for our retirement, it would be a lovely quiet place to live, plenty of busy places, but some of the quiet country town and beaches are lovely.
