Morning guys,
B-day's over, back to business. :) Mike, I need to set up a date too (I guess that's why you called her) and it has me nervous... If she was just another girl, I'd just do it. But for some odd reason, I get this kind of stage fright when I really want to do it right.... |
I hope she calls.
|
She will.
What you think was sounding like a jackass, she probably thought of as clumsy in a cute way. ;) |
Actually, I was pretty smooth, well spoken, and short and to the point.
Hi, heres who I am, from this Saturday, was interested in seeing when you are free, going to party at the beach, heres my number, call me or I'll see ya around, bye. 15 second message. almost too scripted. |
Morning, gents!
|
Morning, Markus!
|

Hey at least you had the guts to call. I would probably get a case of acute autism or sound like speach impaired confused lobotomy patient.... |
Went and saw the new pirates movie tonight... Its long, but it doesn't disappoint...
Hey, mike you get my message on FB? You think I am good to go after that beast with a cutter soon? |
|
^^^^^^ Nice G-man! ^^^^^
Good morning guys. |
Morning Glen,
how's the flooding, did you have to go look for your fish all around the garden? |
No flooding. The photo was just the peak of the rain. The fish stayed in the pond :)
The weather is looking to behave for a while. Of course this time of year a storm can pop up any afternoon. |
Sounds like Belgian weather, sometimes we have three seasons in one day.
But right now we are having the sunniest (most hours of sunshine) spring season since they started recording in 1890 or so. Farmers are crying for rain. Forecasts say dry until 10th of June.... |
We had a very dry fall and spring. We were way behind on rain. The wheat harvest is not good this year. Then the rains came. We are less than 3/4 inch behind normal right now.

Good luck. We're living vicariously through you. |
Morning guys,
Why so quiet? :) |
Shh! Be vwery, vwery quiet! We're wabbit hunting. Now where is that wascaly wabbit?
|
I actually did work today...
not much time online as such.... :) |
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1306470478.jpg
We installed the frame for this several weeks back. The rock layers came and did their thing, and then we put the logos on today. We just had to rivet the brushed aluminum panels to the frame... Easy stuff, nice profit. :D |
Would be much nicer if they would have used an appropriate color cement....
|
We discussed that too, but the customer handled that part of the job....
|
Sid,
I need a favor from you. I'd like to have the Ruf logo of my centercaps filled in black. I don't really want to paint them but rather have the logo in foil so I can stick it on there and remove or replace when I want. Is it difficult to scan this and run the image through a plotter/cutter?? If you could make 8, and mail them to me, that would be awesome. I'll even paypal you some dollars for your effort. (Or I can send some belgian goodies in return or something like that.) If you don't have the time or anything, don't worry, I won't hate you ;). Here's a scan of it. (dunno if it's to scale but I can alway take dimensions) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1306474796.jpg |
We get it! We get it!
|
Lol, how come I double posted? :D:D
Lemme see if I can delete it. |
Is the RUF inset, or embossed out?
We can do it in black vinyl no problem, I may have the artwork around, I will look tomorrow. If you can get me measurements of how tall the letters are, the stroke(width of the leg of the "R") etc, we can make sure the will fit. |
G, you have my email, feel free to email me the info, I am going to bed....
Night guys. |
it's inset.
Thanks Sid, I'll mail you. night night |
I got some good news yesterday.
If all goes well, my car could be ready in much shorter time than I thought. Hell, I could even be driving it this summer.... :D:D Still need some stuff, SSI's, oil lines, cams, clutch... Think I'm getting Bilstein shocks too... :D |
Woo Hoo...got my Shark Tuner today! Now just waiting for the Wideband O2 sensor.
The Shark Tuner is reprogrammable ECU chips, a data logger/programmer, software and cables for a 928. Just turn on the data logs and drive around. It uses rpm, engine load, temps, timing, knock sensors, and wideband O2 outputs to build better timing and fuel maps. It basically provides all the flexibility and control of a standalone Engine Management system using the stock sensors and ECUs. Plus it has the auto tune map creation feature. |
Cool,
did you get the tune up, do you feel any difference? So with the Shark Tuner you can program the chip for whatever occasion? more fule economy or more power? |
Good monrning guys.
Friday! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1306498615.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1306498627.jpg G-Man you are slipping. Is the new girlfriend already controlling your Google Fu? :D |

If it doesn't work out, there will be no limit to my antics...) |

|
You are excused (for a while)
|
morning guys.
|
Morning David.
Do any of you guys have exciting plans for the upcoming three day weekend? I am pretty sure I "get" to trim the shrubs in the west garden and mow and edge the yard again. I will have to find a car project of some sort. There is always something to do with two mid 1980s cars with a combined mileage of 430,000 miles. |
Not doing anything exciting either. One kid is home sick with a really bad cold so the home is stacking up. Still have yard work to do as well. Might tune in the indy on Sunday.
|
I know several folks that are actually going to a lake. I would consider it near torture to go spend a weekend camping at the lake.
