That is the plan. Fun fun fun. Except tomorrow. It is gonna suck. Once that is over the fun starts.
The car is all packed except for our "personal care" items. One small bag each to load and go. We are going to leave early. Mrs Carrera will pick the time we get up. 13 or 14 hours later we should be in Maryville, TN.

I am up and watching the sparrows fart, whatever that means. Up 30 minutes earlier than my regular go to work get up time. We should be on the road by 6:30.

We made it and are checked in and just ordered a Sam Adams and a meal across the street (Texas Roadhouse) from the hotel. Burp. Good stuff

It was hot and humid all day until about an hour ago. Now it's just about perfect. We didn't even get the storms that usually come with a change like that.

How was the meal anyway Glen? I've never been to that chain.

I'm having a pleasant Sunday morning. GD had a sleepover, so a spoilt her this morning with a feed of crepe suzette for breaky. Just tidying up and I'll take the pooch for a walk. Then I think I'll start sorting out the old bus for the trip in a couple of weeks.

It's a long weekend over here, happy birthday queen Bessie of buckinghuge palace.

I can see it from my car. Before we had the luggage unloaded into the room some pickup parked next to it. He left some space since I am against the curb.

My neice's oldest just graduated college and works on a dude ranch.

Nephew's oldest worked on a working ranch thru HS and college, Now that he's graduated (last year) works at Kimray learning the family business.

The other nephew's oldest just graduated West Point and has started his tour as a 2nd Lieutenant. Says he wants to be a helicopter pilot.

The dude ranch guy has the most girls chasing after him.

Hmmm. Was just talking to my neighbor the commercial pilot. He still has instructor ticket. Just offered to do lessons for free if I'll pay for the plane at $100/hr wet.


Great, one more thing I really want to spend money on!
