I got a strange email request for a price quote. Some lady asked "can you tell me what it would cost for an aerial of our plant?"

No mention on the size of the plant, where it is located, what type of aerial, what size print and so on. The question is just like asking what does a house cost?

I really wanted to reply with just "yes I can"

i lost my camera yesterday. i found it about 15 minutes later. it had been run over at least once already. i'd take a picture, but my camera is non-functional. off to evilbay to find a replacement.

Exactly, I use my iphone camera several times a day....

in my limited experience, phone pictures suck.

anyway, that is what happens when i forget to zip my jacket pocket and then choose to take a curve at triple digit speeds on jezebel. lesson learned.

My iphone doesn't have the best camera, Glens isn't bad, and I've heard rumors the new iphone will have a better camera.

In normal lighting conditions the camera on the IPhone is not bad.

They are 2592 x 1936 pixels. It has a option that you can turn on or off called HDR or High Dynamic Mode where it basically shoots two photos with one slightly over exposed and one slightly underexposed. You can combine them back together and get better shadow and highlight detail.

This image is just a normal exposure "happy snap" from the iPhone, no HDR.

For a camera that I always have with me it is not bad. It does real nice HD video.

I want to lose my "insert electronic device of choice here" every time a new version comes out.

My droid X is an 8MP camera and can shoot HD vid. Not bad but not as good as some digital cameras.

I feel ya Richard... I'm getting antsy for the new iPhone, mine is getting old and slow, and my contract is up....
