The tulsa guy did not shop up for the test drive. but the offers have gone up to 60K.
|
That is getting there. Hopefully you will have some last minute snipers for a fair price.
|
There is one guy my seller is trying to get banned. Says it was listed somewhere else for over $100K. And says the shifter is messed up. Neither are true. And that we are in colusion with the bidders with bids over $35K. Also false.
Was told the last minute snipers are common on BAT. |
We got an alert for a storm warning. Shortly after the primary internet went down as well as the land lines and cellular network. Must have blown something over downtown.

Time to turn on regular TV. We have a battery operated digital TV for the times things get bad with weather and power is off. |
We have backup internet and a couple battery powered weather radios. I think the facility will be OK, other than the slow internet now. We don't have an OTA connection for the TVs here.
|
We are just 3.5 miles as the signal goes from the TV station we watch for weather. The portable HD TV has a weird OTA antenna for the digital signals. They are not real strong reception but watchable.
Digital TV was one of the many great lies from the government and companies pushing for the change. All we heard was how the signal was digital and just had perfect picture. They never mention that it is either good reception or just gibberish or nothing at all. With the old analog TV we might get snow and crappy picture but the sound and a semblance of a picture was there when reception was crappy. |
I goto my iPhone for weather reports when everything else stops working.
|
If the internet is down and the cell towers are off, that ain't gonna work. As long as you have battery power and cell reception you are fine.
For sure the weather apps on our phones are the first line of alerts. The weather forecast for big bad storms are often several days out. That gives me time to charge up some portable phone charger batteries, and get ready. |
If the cell towers are down, I am out of luck on everything else.
|
That is why we have a battery operated TV that get the digital signals. Belts, suspenders and glue, tipple backup. I really hope to never need it again. I have an old wind up radio as a fourth level of backup but I really don't expect to ever need that.

Sorry even if you are A board member I no longer work for your company. It would be a violation of my severence package to help you with your email. I can only help you if you add a written rider to my severence package agreement making me a consultant at an hourly rate.
|
Your car is going to see lots of play in the last 2 hours Richard. I’ve seen cars go up 20-30k right before it ends. They add a few minutes with every bid as well, so it makes the end of the auction fun to watch.
|
My seller said if someone tries to enter a bid at the last minute, it adds time from the very last bid for someone else to bid. ie no snipers.
My nephew is really into BAT and said don't pay any attention until the last hour. My seller say it is currently at the high for the last GTS sold on BAT. Sure hope it goes for what Hagerty says it is worth. |

Tell them your consulting company has a flat rate for those services. It only cost a hundred bucks to start an LLC with the state, and getting a EIN from the IRS is free. Bang, you are in business. The business has to file a tax return, but that is not hard. Keep accurate records of every transaction, and you can deduct any costs to the business on the taxes. If you do more than a few transactions, use a bookkeeping program. Write invoices, and open an free bank account somewhere. A business has to use a bank, not a credit union. Get a debit card for the business, so you can purchase items online. We got audited our first year in business, so it can happen. I had every receipt and invoice printed out to give to the auditor. |

Have hired nephew and nieces kids to do yard work for me. Have also tried to hire a house cleaner.
The family can only mow and nothing else. Did a lot more when I was younger taking care of lawns and spent less time making the same money. Have been using my canister vacuum for 15 years. Suddenly after a new maid starts using it, it is "broken and needs to be replaced." I think yes the new maid sure is and does. It is my considered opinion this new generation is stupid. If you are ignorant you just don't know. If stupid, you don't learn. |
Moring all. New battery and there is now vroom in the 911.
|
Good deal David.
Our house cleaner lady found a job cleaning commercial buildings. Way more money for her, so she quit us, and all of her regular customers. Can't blame her, but dang it. |
Glen, you guys using a cleaning service to find her?
