Morning all. 24 when I got up. I will have to watch the weather as they are saying possible freezing rain.

We get to be above freezing for the first time in 5 days today. Hopefully the last of the ice and snow melt off.

Morning all. We got that done yesterday. Right now its 33 and raining at my house. Here at the office is 32 and raining. Not forming ice yet but other places around have called off school and started later openings.

We are having a heat wave, 45 degrees and sunny!

Only 37 but feels like 31 so you have us beat.

Yep a little. ABX are killing the sinus infection that took hold. Sleeping better probably 85-90% better.

Every few years, I get a sinus infection. I know the symptoms so well I can call my doctor and get a X-pack of steroids and that just cures me. I don't even have to go in and have them look up my nose and say, yep, you have a sinus infection.

Half day tomorrow. Daughter wants to see Disturbed in Peoria and the concert starts at 6:30.

The cold weather is back dang it.

11 degrees this morning. That is better than the 1 degree this Monday, but it still sucks.

39 feels like 36 so major improvement for us.

I started having my alarm system monitored by a local company. There were bought by another local company, and they were bought out and then that company was bough out by ADT. ADT has raised my monthly rate several times, and the last bump was the end of my tolerance.

I called another local company, and today they switched me over to their service and replaced the two video cameras with HD cameras and they even have speakers and a microphone. And my monthly bill goes down.

My 14 steps down the hall commute to work was extra nice today. There is a glaze of ice on the ground. Not very thick, but enough lots of people are crashing into each other and sliding off the road. My cars are warm and safe in the garage.

It is just now getting up to 32, so the ice should go away fairly soon.

The body shops are all doing a happy dance with lots of new business coming.

Morning all. I had to drive into the office. Its 45 degrees so no excuses. Today anyway.

The new alarm company changed out the video cameras with much better cameras. Full HD.

I have the "area of interest" defined and if there is movement in those areas I get a notice, and a video of what it is. So when Amazon delivers something, I see it before Amazon notifies me. Anyone approaching the front door will activate it. And as they approach, the camera whistles, hopefullly to get them to look at thee camera.

If there is anything in the driveway, same thing I get a notice. The other night just after midnight, a cat walked across the driveway. The system identified it and an animal, and when it whistled the cat look at the camera, and and it decided to turn around and go back to the direction it came from.
