Is it me, or are people going way overboard with this fad? They don't even look real...more like plastic inserts. Like a bad toupe for the mouth.

There is ALOT of money being made by dentists who specialize in this.

I picked up an account yesterday with a sing out front "dentist artistry".

The office looked like the Taj Mahal.

According to ADA member Dr. Walter Foti, D.D.S., the national obsession with perfectly white teeth may only be getting started.
"What happens once, at long last, you people get your teeth pure white?" Foti asked. "Will you finally be satisfied? Of course not. Then you'll want clear teeth. You won't rest until your ****ing teeth are see-through."

Tooth whitening, and more importantly other cosmetic restorations like bridges/caps/crowns and general prosthedontics is what really separates the schit dentists from the good ones. Nothing looks worse than fake-looking teeth on someone, except maybe fake-looking tits or noses.

I see rich people on the news with horrible cosmetic dental work all the time. Fake-looking, *too white* teeth are the most common. That's the sign of a schit dentist. Great prosthedontists can put a whole mouth-full of artificial teeth in someone and you cannot tell if you lived with them.

Let's not bring tits into this. A nice set of fake ones are welcomed around here any time.

all my favorite drinks are brown. snow white choppers isnt happening on my face. i find it more effective to let my face tan. ;)

i tried a DIY whitener once. all was well, until i was about 5 minutes in. then my entire lower teeth set started hurting bad. like ice sensitive teeth all at once. hurt like the dickens. i yanked it out, and gargled with coffee to say "sorry".

I can feel the dentists wringing their hands when they see me walk in. My family is NOT blessed with good teeth.

I used some OTC stuff a few years ago and it worked pretty good but I refuse to give up coffee so that's that.


My own dentist actually offered to trade the 911 for the work he "thought" I should get.

the teeth thing is not big over on the east coast....yet. at least from what i have seen.
