Watched it, liked it. I am pretty picky and I didnt see anything to complain about aside from the surgery scene where the main charactors were not wearing masks.
I set my DVR and look forward to watching in next week.

Pretty good, but I honestly am unlikely to start watching any TV programs consistently, I might though. Did I see Seth McFarlane, the "Family Guy" guy? Gotta go, Randolph Scott flick on that I have not seen

I have not watched it yet (Tivo'd) but my wife did, and gave it a pretty healthy thumbs-up.

I really liked it. Hope it's as sci-fi ish as I want it to be. I need less Grey's Anatomy, more Quantum Leap in my diet.
Lots of good setups for plot lines.

TERRIBLE dialogue. I've never heard such bad character dialogue before in such a hyped production (other than Star Wars). "I dreamed there were no more good days.".... Seriously??
TERRIBLE interaction with the viewer. How many times do they have to 'remind' me what I saw in the first episode, as well as giving me a 'last time on Flash Forward' preamble to the show itself? I'm sick of seeing the flashbacks to the flash forward. Leave it up to the dialogue to define the characters and their actions. It's like watching an Anime where they have to depict the emotions of the characters using giant sweat droplets or turning the background red. It's absolutely terrible in this regard. With all that said, I'll continue watching. The show only goes on until the flash forward day, which is..what, April? I think I can watch until then. The premise is fun. John Cho is fantastic. The show comes off as low budget and second class due to its insane presentation. |

We DVRed it and watched the first episode on Tuesday, seemed pretty good and I like the actors so far. We'll definitely be watching episode 2.

Great graphics/photography. the story premise is novel, but, like Lost I'm really not a big fan of the half-baked big tease.
Oh, and I did chuckle that, like Lost, the story has a random animal thrown in -- a kangaroo rather than a polar bear. More of that would be good. Maybe have a guy dressed as Waldo (where's Waldo) stroll by in the backgroud during some heavy-serious scene.

I watched the first episode and really liked the concept. Had too many things going on at home to focus on the 2nd episode. However, nothing caught my eye in last night's show that made me feel like I had to stop what I was doing and watch it. I'll try to check out the re-run tonight.

My wife and I anticipated and watched the first episode, and we liked it pretty well. Seems like there wasn't much promotion of episode 2, so we were afraid we'd missed it. Thankfully we didn't.
I'd like more explanation of why there's so many helicopters cruising around, and why there's such a big military presence. Looks too much like foreshadowing of this being a military or government experiment gone awry. I'd also really like to see a character go way out of their way to make sure their vision of the future doesn't come to pass. Like, how about someone so distraught about what they've seen that they try to kill themselves to avoid it, but can't make it happen? BTW, I think we'd like to come see a taping as long as you're offering! |

In the book the show is based off of, this happens- lots of people kill themselves because they didn't like what they saw. So, in the book, it is possible to change the outcome. I liked the 2nd episode- My friend used to have a computer shop where we kept computers in mineral oil filled fish tanks like the assailant was shown with before the place blew up. That's one pretty specific detail they threw in there...
