USC vx Notre Dame
Just want USC to keep the record and whip ND again, I like to see Lou Holtz cry in pain.

ND will get drilled into the ground, it's gonna be ugly.

Well, looks like SC is going to win...but not the blow out I expected. Gives me hope that the Beavers might upset USC. Of course, I hope USC beats the Ducks.

I left the room to make a comment and SC scored again. I can't even leave for a second.

BTW, over on CBS (as opposed to the Nothing But Comercials network)
R-Kansas is getting home-towned by the refs. Two ridiculous penalties in a row against R-Kansas, guess they really want their hero Tebow to win. Gave FLA a TD to tie the game. I like him too, but not enough to cheat for him. Last edited by sammyg2; 10-17-2009 at 03:51 PM.. |

Now USC is getting home-towned. Worst refereeing I've seen in a long time.
Making a tackle is now a penalty according to these asshats. EDIT: SC won despite the refs. 2nd EDIT: wait, hold on. The refs decided the game isn't over yet. they want to give ND one more shot at a TD, so they put time back on the clock. These refs are so bad their parents are out back throwing up. I'm pretty sure Alabama is playing USC later tonight. Not sure wft is being discussed here. Was it last season?

It sure is nice to be Notre Dame at home where you own the refs, so many bad calls. They tried until the very last second to give it to them with penalties.
Hey Lou, how you doing? |

Those unsportsmanlike penalties were ridiculous. Flexing muscles after a sack is considered a penalty, though gesturing after a TD is not? They're equally demonstrative, IMO. Hitting a dodging ballcarrier while he's still in the field of play is too rough? Towards the end of the game, had the ND receiver not had his helmet come off while being tackled, would the 'SC safety have been flagged for hitting a player in a vulnerable position? The DB who was responsible for the tackle was the CB who collared and dragged down the receiver, not the safety who got the flag yet didn't really make any contact. Trojans persevered, nevertheless. Shouldn't have come down to the last second or even the last quarter, but they still got the W.
