My redneck sushi
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1255275068.jpg
I little something I whipped up last night for fun. A few different rolls; Spam & avocado, Spam & spicy crab (surf & turf) and spicy crab & avocado. The spicy crab is just that fake crab meat stuff with a little mayo and siracha. Sometimes I will fry some fish in tempura batter, use shrimp or make tamago. I remembered to take the pic after I had eaten a few pieces, so it doesn't look as pretty. Anyone else roll their own? :D .ps that's not ketchup on the plate, that's siracha. You can't see the soy sauce, except for a little dribble on the plate =) |
Spam and fake crab - ughhh!
Sriracha = yummers! Yasin |
looks Hawaiian
|
Spam and fake crab. I'm speechless.
Like having the Pope's dog crap on your front lawn. |
awesome.
|
I love Spam but never considered doing that w/ it! Were you washing it down with Cold Duck?
|
I'm marking this post as spam!.
I like spam musubi. |
Man that's ketchup.
|
Roll my own? Yes.
Use Spam? Err, no. I suppose enough hot sauce makes anything edible... JR |
Beautiful.
Nicely done. [golf clap] |
This is too funny.
|
Did the spam stink up the double wide ?
|
Excellent but why spam - if you don't mind me asking "are you Samoan"?
For those who don't know; Samoans live on spam. A sushi story for yer. The first time I ate sushi I thought "nice, a big bit of avacado". Welcome to the world of wasabi I guess. |
any self respecting redneck would have used a hotdog, or fish sticks.
dude, you went island style. you downgraded a spam musubi. hahahha. |
I think a lot of people eat Spam but are just too embarrassed to say so. At least it's not made in China.
|
i eat spam on occasion. hawaiians mow through the stuff. too salty for me for the most part. but i lived with hawaiian kids, and the food habits rubbed off alittle bit.
spam fried rice, and musubi. |
Fried Spam.
Toasted white bread. Tomato, lettuce, mayo. Mmmm..... |
