i get my jeans at the thrift store. levi's silver tabs (560?) is what i am hunting. i drag a couple of pairs out of that lair every 6 months. $4 a pair with no holes. i bagged a pair of lucky's as well. nice jeans.

Wow, I got three pair of Levi's for less than a hundred bucks. I can't imagine paying over $100.00 for one pair of jeans. I can wear holes in them myself in no time. I wish they lasted longer.

I wear what are pricey jeans to me and refuse to pay more than 50 bucks a pair. Most I will ever pay.

You go to the Mall? You can order straight from Levis website without the hassle of driving to the mall, dealing with bad salespeople, and being surrounded by people who have no where else to be. I HATE the mall.

I only go to Penn Square mall because a friend once told me the Levi's section is 12 steps from the front door of Dillard's. The dressing room is right there. The sales register is right there. The mall is only four miles from my office. I was at the mall in name only. Dillard's was the only store I entered. The sales clerk was waiting for me.

For my money, absolutely the only way to go.
We're lucky to have one thrift store here that gets all of their stuff from donations out of the "better part of town." I've found Prada, Gucci, Brooks Brothers, all the "name" brands of clothing, and most of it looks as if it was worn only one season, some of it still has tags.
Like new Levi's will run about 5-bucks, maybe 6.
A quick trip to the cleaners and it's in the closet they go!

I prefer Penn too... Much nicer... Cooler stores...

Oh Haha 10-27-2009 03:35 PM

Shhhhhhhh.

Everyone will know about that "store" if we keep talking about it.;)

I dig going to the thrift stores. Not so much for clothes but for interesting items.

We've been giving the kid's old toys away, a could of bags each month. I think we giving back more than we buy so that's good.

Jeans are like a cheap hotel....no ballroom!

GH85Carrera 10-28-2009 10:54 AM

There is plenty of room if you buy jeans that fit. Unless you have the Mumps.

ever get a BJ while standing in a changing room? malls are cool, well they were when i was young, and hung out with wild women.

i like jeans. but i buy them from a mall's evil cheap twin...the factory outlets stores. horrible.

Same here. Best fitting jeans ever made. I must have several pair that are 10 years or older. They last like you wouldn't believe.
