Probably the third time I've related this story here...but a couple years ago, on a hot Summers day, I'd parked my 944 outside our local market while I was shopping.
Upon my exiting the store and approaching my car...I'd noticed a couple of very cute, very young ladies, complete with short shorts and halter tops, apparently "stalking" my car - likely hoping to see some cute young guy (or guys) show up. But boy...when saw gramps (late 60's, far enough along for two young things!) hobbling up to the 944 - they sure did skedaddle in a hurry! Then again, my wife....now 67, still turns heads - and its quite amusing to see guys doing this (head turning thing) and then sizing me up - like they're thinking "what's that great looking gal doing with that homely old guy - maybe he's her father?" |

When my GF turned 50 at her birthday party I said to the group "Now she's 50 I'm thinking of swapping her for two 25 year olds." Jessica who was only 10 at the time was quite concerned and explained to me that in a year's time the two 25 year olds combined age would be 52 and I should stay with 50 year old birthday girl. Sweet of her to think that two 25 year olds would be an option.
