Theres already been two blokes who base jumped off of it, but they weren't able to jump from the top, it wasn't done being built at the time.
The height is accentuated by the fact that it's surrounded by desert...

I guess I'm just dwelling on the engineering aspect of the building.
I'm well aware of the fundamentals put forth in that county. And I don't like it. I have a rather large dislike for a lot of things dealing with the country that building is built over... but it doesn't stop me from viewing the building as just that: a god damned building.

From an architectural standpoint - it is almost art-deco. It is better looking than either the Taipei 101 or the Petronas towers.
The Sears Tower, I mean, Willis Tower looks dated, and the WTC Twin Towers were downright ugly. The Empire State is still the gold standard! |

Our huge demand props up the price around the world. If the USA consumed much less oil, the price would be much, much lower.

The Chrysler Building has a discount drug store chain in the ground floor retail space facing Lexington Ave and 42nd Street.
If FIAT had any balls - they would turn it back into a showroom and fill it with cool cars and trucks. |
