The girls would turn the color of an avocado, when he'd drive down the street in his El Dorado

Why he was only five foot three, girls could not resist his stare

Pablo Picasso was never called an @ssH0le

(huh)

Not in New York

(yeah)

Some people try to pick up girls, get called an @ssH0le

This did not happen, to Pablo Picasso

He would walk down the street, girls could not resist his stare

Subsequently, Pablo Picasso was never called an @ssH0le

nah, not around here - - - - - - Not like you

One of my favorite bands... I have their eponymous album on my iPhone right now.

If I were to walk to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
First I'd go to the room where they keep the Cezanne
But if I had by my side a girlfriend
Then I could look through the paintings, I could look right through them
Because I'd have found something that I understand
I understand a girlfriend.

That's a girlfriend
I said G-I-R-L-F-R-E-N
That's a girlfriend, baby
That's something that I understand
Alright

"All artist borrow.

The great ones steal".

The man invented modern media - 50 years before modern media.

How can you not like a band called "Burning Sensations"

Actually Picasso was driven around in a Hispano Suiza - and he was given a Gull Wing Merc later - but he never did drive an El Dorado.

And now there is this monstrosity :

If you want reality and corectitude, go read the Health Care bill. We're talking about Burning Sensations.

Sweet.

We've got enough "reality and correctitude" to deal with!

One "Burning Sensation" I don't mind, mind you.

DARISC 11-19-2009 05:43 PM

Pablo Picasso
was no Stew Pidasso.

"When I was 10, I could draw like Raphael. It took me a lifetime to learn to paint like a child."

One of my favorite Picasso quotes.

sorry red-beard, but srandallf has it right.

The Burning Sensations version doesn't hold a candle to the original.

Great song, though, especially judging by the number of famous (and not so famous) bands that have covered it over the years.

Wonder why Iggy is pictured on that vid since thats the original Modern Lovers track?

Gotta love the Stop and shop and 128 references, locals would understand. Drummer and keys went on to found the Cars and Talking Heads.

Here as well:
