The American Flag

Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. With that said, the American flag should be flying at half staff. Today I have seen 9 flags. Only two, mine being one of them, are flying at half staff. If you are going to fly the flag have the common courtesy to know proper flag etiquette. That also goes for rednecks and hillbillies. Before you folks below the Mason-Dixon line get your panties in a bind, I've lived in 6 states all in the north. There are HB & RN everywhere. Flying the flag from your pickemup trucks all tattered and torn is not showing your patriotism. It is showing your ignorance, disrespect and possibly breaking the law.

did you raise yours all the way up then down to half mast? and do you do the same when you take it down?

I can proudly state that the flag in my office building is at half mast.

From a down south boy, mine is half staffed. (the only flag on my truck is a magnetic one on the tailgate)

Of course I do. Not half mast as I'm not on a ship.
