I believe that was Russo and Steele. Their auctions are almost a farce...straight up showmanship. I grew up going to the Auburn/Kruse auction every year (did the Concours D'elegance a few years back and won the sports car class...followed by dinner at Dean Kruse's house). The Concours is held at the WWII museum across I-69 from the auction park. ...in order for Dean to drive back and forth between the auction park and the Concours, he drove a '58 Testarossa, instead of a golf cart. That guy has some SERIOUS cars in his collection.
I live about 5 blocks from where Mecum has their Indy auctions...I'll try and catch the next one to see how it is, versus Kruse.
