Nothing smells better than a clean spoon. :D

nynor 01-17-2010 10:59 PM

i also found three boxes of 9mm luger 147 gr. jhp ammunition in my ammunition/fk'all bag. er... i don't own a gun to use that ammunition, nor do i have any idea where it came from. very, very, very strange!!!

m21sniper 01-18-2010 06:25 AM

That's a Browning Hi Power, right? Aren't they 9mm's?

on2wheels52 01-18-2010 07:26 AM

They came out with a .40 in the mid-90's, even a few .30 Luger but those weren't configured like nynor's.

mine is a .40s&w.

LOL, i guess the bullet fairy got confused and left you the wrong caliber!

What is the product number/manufacturer of the ammo? If it's good stuff i'd buy it off of you.

its nothing special. the box is white, says miwall corporation on the side.

brass cartridges with a copper jacketed hollow point. sub sonic.

i tried to give them to my friend, but he sold his 9mm pistol and only has a .38 and .45, now, along with some nice long guns.

oh, and it is a browning hi-power. nice pistola, and very accurate.

m21sniper 01-18-2010 05:21 PM

I've always wanted a Hi-Po, but it has just never happened. (I am a 1 spoon per niche at a time kind of guy and i tend to keep my spoons for decades)

nynor 01-18-2010 05:26 PM

i've had this one for over ten years. the only drawbacks are that the loads are kinda hot, so the gun has quite a bit of recoil, and it is big and heavy, so conceal carry would be kinda silly. i do take it camping and wear it strapped to the middle of my chest when hiking with my backpack. people have a tendency to stare at the center of my chest when they meet up with me on the trail.

just found a 9mm conversion for my pistola:

Nice clean Spoon. Wouldn't want any infection settin' in. Amazing how simple they are to keep that way. Very, very light oil will keep it perfect.

thanks.

would you believe that its had at least a couple thousand rounds through it?

KarlCarrera 01-18-2010 09:04 PM

With the care it seems to have had,....it's just broken in. Enjoy!

You've got a good spoon...Now you need a good camera...

nynor 01-18-2010 09:07 PM

eh, its a great camera. but the lighting down in the man-cave sucks.

Nice spoon! We went to the range yesterday and shot our Ruger LCP, Remington Model 51 and S&W 645. I spent the evening cleaning them. Pretty good activity for a dreary day in MI.

krystar 01-19-2010 06:07 AM

ah. very nice. also went shoosting on sunday. quite a stress reliever.

it turns out that one of the boxes of 9mm ammunition is winchester FMJ. i also found a box of remington winchester .243. however, i know why i have the .243 ammunition.
