new to me spoon

Cleaning out a storage unit, I came across an ASTRA A-75 in 40S&W. Appears to be in pretty good shape. Is it a keeper?

Solid reliable shooter, no collector value at all, not really desirable.

But they do work.

Thanks, Sniper. Figured that was the case from a quick google search. Thought I'd see what the Pelican brain trust had to say. I guess I'll just keep it for home defense. It's almost too heavy to carry.

Glad to help!

Astra's are built like tanks. My mom inherited one from her 2nd husband when he passed. It's a .40cal A-75 just like yours, in stainless.

Thing kicks like a mule and accuracy is just average, but it does feed aggressive hollow points just fine and it is reliable. Make sure you test fire it with whatever load you end up using, so you can ensure it goes BANG! :)

Did you check with the cops to see if it's a stolen handgun?

Thanks, Jim. Next thing on my list!
