Recommend a great restaurant in Vegas

Can anyone recommend a great restaurant in Vegas?
Going in late Feb with a group of 6-10 and looking for an exciting place that will not mind if we are loud but has fabulous food and great service. Price is a consideration but if it has everything else we wont care.
Thanks
Steve

Had a great dinner at Botero, located in the Encore.

There are probably around 100 really great restaurants in Vegas, and I mean really great. Do a search for what kind of food/atmosphere you like and Vegas will have it. But the days of Vegas having great deals are way over, get ready to spend some money, and make reservations now.

That's a fact, there are some really great resturants in town, including several 5 star. Many of them have a private dining room that might just be perfect for your party. Wynn Las Vegas and Encore both have very fine resturants top to bottom. SW @ WLV has just such a room. Enjoy and please bring your wallet, we need the business. ;)

Bouchon is very good. Skip Tao in the Venetian. There is a place in Wynn called Bortollo, or something like that. It's mostly italian coastal seafood. It was wonderful. Plus you can take a stroll through the Ferrari dealership. :)

Try Koi in Planet Hollywood. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and reasonable prices, considering. If $$ is a concern, stay away from their "special" drinks.

Mon Ami Gabi is French style Bistro at the Paris, and has the most authentic steak & frites this side of... the real Paris! The rest of the menu is excellent too.... Reservations required ...

Mon Ami Gabi - Home

I eat there at least once a year.... :-D

...but for an incredible gastronomic experience, go here:

Unsurpassed in every regard. Including price! It's the ONLY Michelin 3 star restaurant in Vegas.

If you are into wine, go to Aureole.

New, high-end cuisine Mix.

Old, school steak and martinis as big as your head, the Golden Steer.

a (relatively) cheap but fun and surprisingly good place to eat is the rainforest cafe in mgm. go there for breakfast, get the eggs benedict.

The Brau Haus. It's a replica of the original that is in Germany. Incredible German food, BEER, beautiful servers dressed in German dirndles (you know, boobs all pushed up & out), BEER, oom-pah-pah bands playing old German music, BEER. It's noisy, fun, great food, and oh yeah......BEER!

Had a nice meal at the other rest. in Paris (also a steak joint). Steak was good, wine list was, to me, fantastic. Lots of neat stuff I never see here on the east coast. Very very good service, particularly with the wine (yet another thing we don't have in my immmediate area).

The breads served were astoundingly good as well. There was one that was a soft white breat with salt...MMMMMM was that good.

Beautiful setting.

If it's warm enough to dine outside,Try the Deck at The M "Hotel way south of the strip.Or just get a table with a view.It gives you a fantastic panoramic view of sin city at night. Food is Northern Italian Cuisene and you can get loose without offending the table next to you.The wine bar on the lower level is also a great place ...so great, I dont remember the name of it !!

Depends what ya are lookin for...

High end...Joes Stone Crab.. in Caesars Forum Shops....my ex neighbors grew up in LV and that is the place they go when they want fine dining.

Great Food reasonable price...Jerry Nugget..for Prime Rib....this is the REAL and OLD LV..way way up LV Blvd....but as the BOyz on the Board can atest to its GOOOOD...

Buffet...Belagio...still wins it by a nose in my opinion...and if ya go just before 4PM ya pay lunch price but get the dinner menu starting at 4 PM....$21.50

Any tourist fool can stay on the Strip and mortgage his house for dinner...it takes some savvy to find great dining for a reasonable price. And there are lots of places here, cause the locals are discriminating.

The best gddamed sandwich I had was from a Cold Cut Buffet Table that was left in one of the back halls of the Veniatian after a small business meeting was over...They paid for it, didn't eat it, so it was left out for the guys working at setting up the conventions...try a 4 inch thick sandwich with all the goodies...and best of all it was FREEE...
