Just a proud Daddy
My daughter has placed first all around in 2 of her 4 gymnastics meets so far this year. The 20 hours a week working out has payed off for her. She is still pulling a 3.8 GPA her freshman year.

That is awesome. You are right to be bragging.

You are right to be proud.

Congrats, gymnastics requires such commitment, by both the athlete and the family supporting them, for any hope of success. I have no doubt she is a very impressive young lady.
In her youth, my wife was a state champ in gymnastics(vault) and mixed doubles tennis. I dated a gal who won a state championship in Floor Ex. Serious dedication, you just have to respect it. |
Yes, it takes a great deal of dedication to stick with the workouts. Her Mom did it for 12 years and actually coached her for a while. They are traveling to Phoenix in 2 weeks for another meet. She wants to do this in college also. Oh, the best part is NO time for a boyfriend !!
