I would rather be in a room full of snakes than one monkey. Call it primate competition but I don't like any sort of ape, monkey or primate other than humans and even most of them I can do without...

That ain't a monkey, it is a chimpanzee. Calling that a monkey is like calling it a gorilla or baboon, not even close.

Baboons are monkeys - big 'uns.

Gorillas, chimps(2 species), orangutans and... humans are in the so-called "great apes" and are not monkeys.

Both the great apes and monkeys are in a larger group - the Order Primates (together with some smaller brained things...).

So, technically, calling this chimp a monkey is worse than calling it a gorilla.

If you are lucky, this chimp does not read much on the Internet and will not see the spurious comment, buy itself a plane ticket out there and eat your face off. But ya never know...

monkey, great apes, whatever, he's got a hand full of what i want in my hands.
