Any 240/260/280Z enthusiasts around? Got sumpin' you may be interested in...

From my old Z car days, a buddy has a good running 260 engine with mild cam, header and triple weber side draft carbs. Out of a car we wrecked a while back. Nice little motor for street/autoX for sale. Will split up components if any one interested.

Dave...I'm 99.9 % sure they are webers. I'll get the info on exact model nos. etc. and some pics. Motor was in an older enthusiasts car...very gingerly driven...he was meticulous about maintaining it. I'd guess a 80-90K mile motor. He lent the car to his son who promptly wrecked it. Then he died and his wife asked us to sell the stuff. Quite honsestly probably wouldn't be worth shipping the whole motor.

Hi Jim
from what you are describing , looks like i should just get the weber set up with linkage and the headers if they have not rusted out (some were plated or stainless)
if the dizzy is special, that's a no brainer as its just a bolt to remove
no rush- lemme know
thank you
dave

I had a 72 240Z in high school Very sweet car!

First car I bought my wife was a 280ZX. I've had a few of the Z cars; love 'em.
