turner classic movies, tonight.

tcm will be showing "le mans" backed up by " grand prix", tonight starting at eight eastern time, followed by "the racers".

oh nice lineup!

I never watch the channel, but my dad texted me maybe a month or 2 ago to say watch "The Paper Chase".....terrific movie

Saw a bit of Le Mans. Cars are of course super cool but the movie is kinda blah despite McQueen.

agreed. (we might be kicked out for dissing the movie.)
first time i really saw it all the way thru. was a bit dissapointed other than seeing all the cars.
not much dialogue in the beginning. left me a bit confused. thought he was doing a flash back to the wreck.

think i will go watch senna again

Love the "making of Grand Prix" segment.
Some great old racetrack footage, as well, in the movie.

It's embarrassing to admit, but that's the. First time I watched Grand Prix all the way through. Loved the cars and the racing footage, but the storyline and acting was almost laughable.
