Sidney Crosby Hat Trick?
 

Any hockey fan knows what a "Hat Trick" is. Most all fans know a "Gordy Howe Ha Trick" is a goal, an assist, and a fight.
Well maybe Sid the Kid started something new.
Last night, I started the phrase a "Sidney Crosby Hat Trick":

Good game last night. I'm sure the Pen fans are happy but if Marc Andre doesn't wake up they won't get far.

Good on you Joe! (There will be few are far between though). But we did witness the 1st :D

Hat trick is 3 goals, a natural hat trick is 3 consecutive goals, I didn't see the game, I'm in the jungle, but what I saw of the scores was that most of the underdog teams won the first game of the series, except the Canucks and Kings. I think the Canucks are going to the final round, your right about Mark he has to be his best or I could very well be the reason the Pens won't repeat

I'm a Sens fan -- but I've got to give Crosby a ton of props. He appears to be the only Penguin actually playing the game . . .

Ovechkin should watch the video of Crosby's assist on the winning goal. Ovechkin has more size and skill. Crosby has more desire.

Crosby is such a great player and leader, I find it hard to understand all the bloggers that hate him. Maybe they don't see him play every game like we do here in Pittsburgh, but I have never ever seen him take a game, period or even a shift off. That game is like his whole season, or career, non stop.

Well said. Actually I think Crosby has more raw talent along with his heart, AKA desire.
And I'll take talent and desire over size & skill. Just look at Wesley Welker from the Patriots, (I FRIGGIN' hate the Patriot). His heart is his major asset.



It's called jealousy. ANY NHL team would mortgage their future for a Crosby. Glad he's a Penguin.

I don't hate him, but a lot of my friends do. He gets a bit too much press in Canada. We love to tout our best players, what country doesn't? But he is pretty much adored by the media, your never hear a negative word. Free ride? Maybe. Or maybe he really is perfect. Either way, I watch him play and that's the end of it. I don't care about anything beyond that.

Athletes are mortal too.
