Anyone believe in ghosts? Pic!!
I was just looking for more pics to post in 'Random Pics' and came across this one. It was taken at Dunleith Plantation (200+ years old house now serving as a b & b in Natchez, Miss) several years ago . . . there appears to be a white human image surrounding the orb of light (hovering over bed). I have not altered this in any way. This is just a part of the original pic (bottom)
There were no other pics in the room to account for the outline, could it be a small flare from the frame of the picture directly in front of the camera, perhaps? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1272080583.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1272080801.jpg |

Could just be dirt/water/smudge on the lens that caught the flash weird.
|

Aich! You're killing me with the water. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a smudge- checked the pics before and after taken in the same room, same light and there's no evidence of dirt or grease on the lens.
If it was simply light refraction you'd think it'd be more uniform than it appears. |
There is light coming from behind the camera like a door was partially open. Notice how the sharp edge of the lamp shade is projected on the wall but in a softer light than a camera flash. I am just guessingSmileWavy

This is a photo taken by me of my son and daughter about 5 years ago.
Note the "something" caressing her hair. The floating "orbs" are probably dust on the camera lens. The photo was taken in a small lane near the house I grew up in. There used to be a funeral director only a few meters from this spot. That building has since been torn down and replaced with apartments. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1272091577.jpg |

Whats the s*#$ on the ceiling?! that's my question... wtf, maybe my knowledge of victorian bedsets ins't what it should be but no thanks to whatever that is...
|
That is a seriously ugly bed.
|
The thing above the bed is where the trapeze is stored when not in use.....
|
i'm not buyin' any of it..
|
U boyz got some vivid imaganations...
or some really good weed. :p |
Okay, okay. Let me try this again. It be a floating torso! Right there! And the bed is ugly because it's really, really old and probably more expensive than most of the pieces in my house.

Honestly, when you figure in smudges on the inside or outside of the lens, reflections and refractions inside the lens, possible minute defects in or on the film itself, then double all of that in the developing and printing of the photo.
I do admit that there is a lot going on on this planet we don't understand, but I don't think film photography is the best way to discover it. |
