accident ???

I am full of ? lately.

How do lawyers get all of your information when you are in a car wreck.

My wife and son were hit the other day(both are fine) in the drivers side of our F150 super cab. it tore up both doors on that side. Yesterday my wife and 3YO son get 15 solicitations in the mail from law firms. How do they get names and addresses so fast? My son was checked out at Duke, do they sell the info to lawyers.

This is why I missed going to Hershey.

believe they check accident reports. pay for a subscription. when my bmw got hit by a young girl in february, i had 7 letters in one day from different attornies, all within a week of the accident.

Police reports & some have hospital flunkies on retainer..
against the law in TX to be contacted..

'I needs me some compensation..
a big Plasma anyway..'

Insurance company maybe? The two are pretty tight!

Accident reports. As soon as they hit the publice record, the ambulance chasers hit you.

Chiropractors will be next to call.

The fact your son went to the hospital only adds fuel to the fire. Like white gas on a match.

Glad they're OK.

Same thing happened to us when my wife was hit a few months ago.

Accident reports are public record in NC and you can access them online to gather information from all parties involved.

It's the cheese-ball flunkie attorneys that need to drum up business that way.

If I'm in an accident, and need a lawyer, automatically excluding anybody who contacts me is a great way to weed down the possibilities.

Good, well-established attorneys don't need to shout "Oooh-Oooh! Pick me! Pick me!" like a second grade kid.

I've been in a few car accidents that we not of my fault... never got any solicitations in the mail.

Bastards. I must not be worth it.

And the firms with full page ads in the phone book are excluded as well.

Did you know those ads can run upwards of $10k PER MONTH? They gotta pay for them somehow.
