New 911 Pics
You guys got on me about the 911 needing lowering last July when I bought her... so, I got around to lowering it a few months ago and just yesterday shot these new and improved pics.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1272578436.jpg

She looks right to me.
Good job. |
looking very good.
now you should point the bottoms of the porsche crests on your wheels to the tire valves. (for the deadly serious concours guys.) |
Nice! Zinc Metallic?
|
This is in OT??
Nice car. Question: If you don't use a front license plate, why the one you have? |
Looks great!!!
What size front wheel/tire combo is that? |

looks great!, rear fenders fill out nicely!!

They were pointed downward (correctly) when it went to the shop for lowering... it came back like this.... I plan to correct it. |

The front plate was on the car when I bought it and I sort of like it. |

Looks great!

Thanks for the comments on the car..... I appreciate you guys. My former fiance and girlfriend of 4-years said today that we "need to spend some time apart."
I think a Facebook rat has invaded my happy home based on the comments I have read between her and this so-called "friend." At least the car still needs me. |

The ride height looks great. Forget about which way the crests are pointed... that kind of obsessiveness is just wrong. |
Very nice 911. Take a road trip and enjoy yourself.
|
lolo, thread needs to be moved due to no butt or provocative pictures?
nice car :D |
did you lower the car yourself

Now that I am Free at Last I will resume my passion of creating art involving the above mentioned topics... That was something else I gave up for her... my art. It's enough to kill a man. |

Did you chuck it by the side of the road? |

If i was going to buy a 911, it would be a turbo from your 911's era. |
Thanks, Sniper!
I have toyed with the idea of "winging" the rear end.... don't know which way I'll go. |
I knew someone would ask that!
Thanks, but no. That ain't mine. |
Your car looks good without a whale tail.
IMO, a ducktail would look great, though. |
See, now the ducktails i don't really care for. But then, it is not my car. :D
|
I have seriously considered the duck tail... but I keep coming back to the clean look of the rear end... so, I'll probably do nothing and end up selling it!

nice car, and sorry for the breakup with the "special lady friend". sucks. mine did the exact same thing to me..then we got married. stay alert friend. stick and move. i was planting a garden, and washing her car this weekend. then we talked about our feelings, organized the garage, we thru out my clothing that she doesnt like, and worked out a budget....STAY ALERT! |
NO WING!
It's perfect. |
At the risk of being laughed off this thread... what year is that 911? Beautiful!
|
There is something about those dam 911's
|
Very nice car good ride height. I'm a sucker for silver 911's
Hold on a tail of any type, narrow bodied cars look unnatural with turbo tails. It looks great the way it is. Less is sometimes more. |
no wing.
looks perfect, just like mine !;);) |

Not laughing at all.... She's an '81. And thanks for calling her "beautiful." |
