Freefly: "It wasn't the freefall that upset me, it was the squishy feeling in the back of my pants that put that frown on my face."
R22tech: 30 was a mid-life crisis for me. I got divorced, sold the minivan and bought a Porsche. Never been happier. Ok, maybe I was happier when I had a job - and I guess the minivan would have been more comfortable to live in... Here's me at my 1st birthday. BTW, I was made in Germany, just like my car:

I'm 44, no 45. One advantage to getting old; you can hide your own easter eggs.

Lovin' the baby and kid pics. Leland, how do you have those while serving at the request of President Bush? All electronic? Sorry guys, don't have the equipment or the technical know how, or I'd post one of my BUFF (In the Air Force sense of the word) self with the old car. Leland? Your pics brought an old rock song lyrics in my head: "Gather 'round folks, and I'll tell you a story, about how to become an all american boy"...

I'm 26 and in a few days my Porsche will be 18 years old. But it's still going strong.

In the early 80's I went to High School down the street from the local Porsche dealer. I used to stop by and check out the new 911's from the other side of the glass.
20 years later, I finally had enough disposable funds to purchase my first 911 - 1987 Targa. I plan on filling up the garage with a couple more. Maybe in 20 more years I'll have enough cash to keep up with all the great ideas on this site!! 34

12 when my '78 Targa was born. Use to see a similar one on my paper route, peeked inside once and noticed it leaking and remember thinking "who would own a Targa in the Northwest?".
That memory seems to be on top of mind more this time of the year.
