What captures the 31-33 year olds are the Red Heads, The Blondes, and The Brunettes. The name of my Blonde is Marilyn, she's an 88 C.

Will complete my 44th successful trip around the Sun in a couple weeks. I'll be around this planet for a while... gotta get that 69 finished and to the track... AND, I haven't found a better place to live...
Started with VW a long time ago...picked up the Targa about 15 years back... Coupe a little later. Gotta have a Summer and Winter car you know. I enjoy the early P-cars. I would appreciate any assistance offered on my '69 S engine. Currently running 40IDS which I will be rebuilding. Keep it up guys. One hell of a board! Regards, |

Recently 31, but like to think 25 and sometimes younger. Being goofy from time to time keeps me young at heart.
I was 17 the month they built my car (Aug 87/MY 88) so I guess that fits. Have had it for just over a year birthday present for the big 3-0. Didn't get the mid life feeling of dread then. I guess since I like to think young. If the technology market doesn't pick up I may be living in my car, but I'll be happy!

I'm 40, I've owned my car since I was 30. It has aged better than I have.
How does somebody in college own a P-car? I could barely afford gas money for my '68 VW bug. There was one guy on campus that had a newer 924, but he used to get beat up a lot.

Hi
33 yrs old, stopped counting after 21. must have been something about porsche in the '80s that attracted our generation. The wild excesses of capitalism maybe? ![]() Perhaps that explains the '84 3.2 cab in guards red (maybe?) with the huge spolier sitting in the garage. Also just qualified as a freefall skydiver, got 25 jumps currently. Might visit the USA summer 2002 to get loads of airtime.

59 and looking forward to approaching middle age.
![]() I think I've discovered 3 items to keep every man thinking young. Mini skirts, spandex, and miracle bra's. NO, I don't wear them, just enjoy looking.

I was 16 when my '79 930 was produced.
I never realize it until I owned the car for a couple of months. If I could have had one car in the world when I turned 16 it would have been the 930 (and I really really wanted one). For some strange reason, my parents wouldn't buy me one - I was crushed.I have now realized my dream from when I was 16 - better late than never I guess. Jeb |

Keith -
I was born August 25, 1983. So maybe I'm not the youngest. At least I am still the youngest person to ever start a VARA Race (I was 16). I am at Glendale Community College for now; I will hopefully end up at Art Center College of Design where I plan to study transportation design. How do we in college afford a Porsche? Honestly, my father bought the car when I was 13 and we restored it until I was 16. Besides that, I own a 912 (no 911 superiority trips, please) and that makes maintinence a bit easier. I do most of the work on it myself now. I don't know how Keith does it, but frankly it doesn't matter, he has a *****in' 911. Efrain 68 912 Coupe |
