My new shotspoon

I owned one of these before. Magnificent weapon, basically a Benelli clone made by Beretta. Italian made, very, very nice. SUPER lightweight, extremely reliable. Capacity 6+1.

At $300.00 used, i could NOT pass it up....

Beretta 1200 3" 12 gauge.

That is some SERIOUS anti-anything mojo right there.

$300.00 for an Italian made semi-auto 12ga is overpriced?

This is actually a better picture of my exact model. The one in the first post is a 1201fp.

Yeah...when my Italian, Beretta licensed built Benelli breaks, i'll be screwed.

LOL....yeah.

As for loads, i don't mess around. 7rds of 15 count 00 buck 3" magnum for me plz. F reduced recoil, i want maximum carnage, i want maximum working energy to cycle the action.

With my old 1201FP(slightly different model), i could easily put all 7 rounds on target on a paper plate sized target at 25 meters in about 3 seconds flat. That's 105 .33 caliber projectiles in 3 seconds.

The only weapon on earth that can match the suppressive firepower of a good semi-auto shotgun at close range is a mini-gun.

Honestly, i just bought it because you can actually hunt with a 12 gauge semi here (and in most places), and i kind of admit that i think every man should own a shotgun, just because.

I think i'm gonna get it duracoated, the finish is a bit worn, and i don't really want it looking all black and sinister in case i should decide to go squirrel or deer hunting with it (unlikely, but you never know)

My Burris Fastfire will definitely be going on this puppy.

Heh heh... Bill she's just your backup in case the AR runs hot and you have to let it cool for awhile, right?

They're 1A and 1B.

In the environment i'm in, either one would be highly effective.

This one i can actually hunt with, if i ever decide to go hunting again. I do go up my uncle's place up the mtn's a few times each summer, it's a really handy and light mountain gun.

Hmmm, looks like longer vent-rib barrels are available for it as well. Happy times.

Here's one all dolled up as a slug gun:
