No, seems not. But the wifi feature in the iTouch seems to pick up signals that can track where it is.

I doubt that. Routers do not have locations built into them. I expect that a GPS unit is built in and it is not published.

There are some pretty cool gizmos out there you can attach to an iPhone to get a pretty nifty cycling computer out of it... cadence, maps interface, etc. But the biggest drawback is a battery that goes through juice faster than Rosie O'Donnell in a candy store. The iPhone really wasn't designed to have the screen on constantly. I've heard some people getting by with adjusted screen brightness and what not. Then there's always the issue of the iPhone not being very impact resistant.

If you do it, please report back!

No, Irony is Andrew Jackson on a Central Bank note...

They both argued against the creation of a Central Bank, did they not?

AJ tended to be a bit more poetic and eccentric in his views. Anyway, the bumper stick a friend gave me for my birthday says "Thomas Jefferson" but since this is like the second time someone's mentioned it, I guess I can change it.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson

Jackson actually killed the Bank of the United States. Jefferson just opposed it, and mostly opposed Hamilton. It wasn't until the Federal Reserve act that we again had a central bank.

yeh, I vote for Jackson

(since we are voting on your sig.)

Leland Pate 06-08-2010 03:53 PM

Agreed, but the quote works both ways. :D

AND! I just had a 9 year old product of the public education system pronounce to me that Andrew Jackson was a bad president because he forced people off their land.

iPhone thread- un Hijack!
