Winter in August...

Stopped in one of the big chain sporting good stores( Dicks), to pick up some stuff for my kayak and some shorts. I look around. Nothing. Everything is gone Not even a clearance rack. Replaced by down jackets and fleece, gloves wool hats snowboards and skis.

WTF?? It's freakin the second week of August!!! There is still 2 months of summer left!!

I'm so fuchin sick of stores pushing the seasons. Every store whether its a clothing store, home improvement center. They all do it! Enough already!!:mad:

People still need summer stuff.

End of rant...

I know what you mean. I went to Target, and they only had swimsuits and other summer wear. But it was for next summer!

Actually, I agree with you. It drives me crazy, too. But I suppose it makes marketing sense, or they wouldn't do it.

What does next summer's swimwear look like? ;) :D

Yep, this is the time of year that I buy outdoor patio stuff. All on close out. It's not even summer here yet. SoCal's summer is from now to Halloween.

That little girl (daughter of booth across from mine) loved the bike. Always had to be on it, cried when they tried to pull her off. Get'em started young!
