Eileen is Home!!!
She was on layaway a very short time as I got her out a couple of days ago... I had to finish work on this Early 90's model Ibanez before I could get to her though..... I cleaned and polished the frets on this one, as well as rebuild the bridge... installed a new plug jack... adjusted string height and pickup height, installed new ernie ball super slinky hybrids... still need to polish and adjust intonation..... almost ready to sell...

And here's my baby Eileen!!! she was a basket case as far as setup goes... I removed her old strings (they were like cable from a winch :D) the bridge was installed backwards, so I took it apart and cleaned it, oiled it and re-installed it correctly... the bridge and the tail piece were at their highest point and the guitar was till getting a little buzzing on the first fret, so I went ahead and screwed them down all the way and backed the bridge out a couple of turns... I then shimmed the nut which was set way too low and then polished the frets and fretboard... I put on some new Ernie Ball super slinky hybrids and re-adjusted the bridge, then adjusted the pickup heights... I still need to set intonation and find a screw on knob for my selector switch, but let me tell you... she plays super, sounds great and has very easy action... I am in love with the look and feel of this guitar... and checking on Ebay for other Epiphone Les Paul Classics, I think I got a good deal on her... Eileen will be staying in my personal stash...
