Bear season opens September 1st. I could be enticed to sit comfortably on your deck, sipping one of your IPA's, with a .375 in my lap...

Hmmm...you, armed, on my deck drinking my beer or a bear in the garbage? I gotta go with the bear. Oh, and thanks for bursting the hibernation bubble...really?

BTW, when you write things like "The dollar bill is for scale..." you take the fun out of it for those of us who live to think up smart ass remarks for interesting pictures, like, say one that includes a dollar bill next to a big pile of poop.

Noted...

What could possibly go wrong?;) Besides, I'm told that when I get enough beer in me, I even start making bear noises. Or something like that.

And yes, really - our winters are too mild to induce the story book winter-long hibernation in these guys. I've seen them up and about when out elk hunting in our January late muzzle loader seasons.
